100% cotton yarn doesn't come much better than this. James C Brett have done it again with a fantastically smooth cotton in a fantastic colour range featuring brights, subtle earthy tones and pastels and deeps.
Its a non mercerised cotton but you wouldn't know it - its super soft. This DK cotton is perfect for summer makes, amigurumi and bags.
What is mercerisation. This is where cotton is treated with a concentrated solution of caustic soda to change the cottons properties. This alters the cotton texture to a more rounded, strand with a sheen. We like our cotton without this process added. It's not only bad for the environment but who wants that near their skin.
